Boeing 737 used by Air NiuginiThe picture below is an aircraft used by Air Niugini.
The follwoing info is from Bob Cles -- The Boeing 737-200 belonged to Trans European Airways UK (Birmingham Airport). It was flown via Muscat / Calcutta / Singapore / Darwin and arrived in Port Moresby on the 30th of Oct 1989. On a 6 month lease it operated scheduled services to:- Air Niugini leased it for 6 months to evaluate it as a replacement for the F28. TEA UK were considering the purachase of an Airbus A300 to operate UK to Singapore to tie in with the Air Niugini service Singapore to Port Moresby. However TEA UK ceased operations before this was achieved Thanks t Bob for that information. Does anyone else have any more information about this plane?
