The Constabulary band is a sixty-four piece Military Band with an Auxiliary Youth Band of forty. The youth learn drums and bugles, theory of music, marching techniques and police matters in their first two years before progressing on to military band instruments in their third year of training.
Vali Tau from Central, playing the cymbals, always entertained the crowd with his antics. There havebeen other cymbal players but Vali is the one most people would remember.
The Constabulary band has established itself globally and has performed at many overseas events including Osaka in Japan.
