Alotau International School has been in existence for some 21 years serving the needs of the Milne Bay community. The dedicated staff work hard to offer a modern outcomes based curriculum together with a multitude of activities normally associated with larger schools. Our mission is to provide a high quality private education, meeting the needs of the individual learners in a caring environment. Learning for Life is a theme that runs through all school activities.

The School firmly believes in educating the whole child and this has led to Outdoor and Cultural Education being developed in partnership with community members, as a feature of its curriculum. This specialisation utilises the spectacular Milne Bay environment through activities designed to develop qualities such as independence, resourcefulness, initiative and interdependence in its students and has met with widespread acclaim.
