The Birdwing butterfly is the school emblem. It symbolises the potential each child is encouraged to develop.

Popondetta International School is a Prep to year 8 school. The school also operates an Early Learning Centre for 3-5 year olds. The school is committed to an activity based, child centred approach to education where individual differences are acknowledged and catered for.

The children work in multi-age classes and have access to a quality selection of learning resources.
