For my ninth birthday I celebrated with my mum and dad in Goroka. My mum and dad bought a special cake for school but the school kids ate it before my dad could take a photgraph.

We went out for a meal at the Mandarin Restaurant in the main street of Goroka and my brother, Simulai, rang from Melbourne on my dad's mobile! He gave me the doll I am cuddling while talking to him.

I really enjoyed my sweet corn and chicken soup.
