2013 Alpine Rally

The 44th Alpine Rally was held at the Yarrangobilly Bridge on the banks of the Yarrangobilly River along the Snowy Mountains Highway. It is always held over the New South Wales Queen's Birthday weekend in June. This year I left Bendigo at around 10am off to the Rally Site via, smaller country roads until hitting the Hume Highway near Wangaratta. Fortunately I didn't stay on the Hume for long choosing to following the New South Wales side of the border after using the new ferry at Wymah and eventually overnighting in Tumbarumba.

From Tumbarumba I decided to travel via Eliott Way to the rally site. Crossing the Great Dividing Range a short dstance from Cabramurra.
