What it's like in my family.
Well I'm pretty lucky I reckon, having my mum from Papua New Guinea, and my dad from Australia.
Being lucky I mean that I get to see two different types of life styles and cultures. For instance when I go back to my village in Milne Bay (one of the 19 provinces of Papua New Guinea) I sample a bit of village life, like having to carry water from the river to the village (a very back breaking chore), lighting the kerosene lanterns, going fishing, etc. In Papua New Guinea our custom is very different to the western way.
Here are some recipes from Papua New Guinea.
