Bread Rolls
Along with various favourite recipes many families make bread rolls to sell to make money for school fees etc. Here are some pictures of the bread making process made in a drum oven.
This page is being developed - I hope to be able to capture more photographs of the process in the future. Thanks to the Maibani family at Waigani for these photographs.

Bread in PNG is made in a variety of ovens. In the examples on this page a drum oven has been used. The dough is made using yeast and allowed to rise and then it is formed in the shape of buns. It is easier to sell a bun than to sell a loaf of bread.
